This is my last long summer vacation with my boy. I cant believe he is 5 now. Its amazing how time flys! I did something so drastic so I can spend it all with him I quit my weekend job. I know things will be tight for 2 months but I work for the school district and it all will be ok.
I cant believe he is going to Kindy next year I have even thought about having another. I know crazy right? Like I can just say. " Lets have more" But thats not realy an option as we both had agreed that one is all we both can handle and afford. After years of me begging my dh to see it my way. Call it empty nest or something but I am going to enjoy this summer

Its the hollidays again!
Its time to celibrate again! Yesterday we went trick or treating and had a blast. But now its time to start getting things ready for Thanks giving and Christmas.
A few things. Thomas will have a blast no matter where we go for Thanks Giving. However inlight of the fact that I am withholding Thomas from Sarah ( Jer and Christinas first born) after they called me horrible names and expect me to take it. Im not with holding Thomas but I refuse to be treated that way and I wont have Thomas arround them. Not with out me.
So were not sure what to do for Thanks Giving. We have always gone to nanas and poppies with grannie but this year Jer and Christina will be there and They have made it clear that my Grandmother isnt welcome where they are.
So I guess maybe because I am not welcome to be in there lives w/out them treating me like garbage We will probally try my first hand at making a turky. I always make a ham for Christmas and we stay home that day and go over to nanas for thanks giving. However this year will be different.
I got Sarahs b-day present already. Not like they have EVER gotten Thomas anything for his b-day or christmas so I guess I dont have to give it to her.

Planning the B-day
I am trying to Plan Thomas's 4th b-day. Every year I rember the birthdays past. His first b-day was way outragous.
Everyone wanted to come and be appart of his birthday. I was on strike and Thomas turned 1 the day before Superbowl Sunday! The guys on the picket line had decided we didnt need to be out there on superbowl sunday so we were taking the day off. They all got mad at me and told me I had to miss my sons First b-day and be on the picket line for the whole day! Being that we wernt going to be there the next day. They actually wanted me to miss his party or Call everyone on saturday and rescedual it for the next day! Well being it was his actual b-day I wanted to do it on that day.
The whole day went well the only regret I have to this day is my mil took over and I didnt get to help my son open his presents. My mother in law sat down and started opening them with him before I even got the video Camra set up.
The second birthday same thing happened my mother in law helped him open his presents. I was mad but what can I do. I will never get it back. Besides I took the day off of work and everyone said they would come didnt. It sucked for me.
Thomas's 3rd bday we did a low key superbowl party and a birthday party invited minumal people and I didnt take the day off of work. I sat down with him and opened the presents with him. My sil was in labor at the hospital and we knew she wouldnt be there. Kathy ( my sil ) had a baby girl the morning of the party the day before Thomas's b-day. Sooo my mother-in-law spent some of the party with us the rest with my sil. My other bil and sil came down and expected my mother in law to blow off my sons b-day party to go hang out with them. Thats typical. We didnt invite them because 1) They always make everything about them and 2) We have friends who said they will beat my bil down the next time they see him.
This year I am wondering what kinda drama will happen. It seams like something alwyas happens. No matter how hard I try to make the day about him.
We will see huh? My one set of bil sil arent invited and I am sure they will be pissed and make it all about them. But seriously What can I do?

Christmas
Its the day after Christmas and I am buzzing. I have a house to clean and I need to go get a few things we didn't think of. But for the most part Thomas had a great Christmas.
He got........
1) Trampoline
2) Try Bot
3) Bendaroos
4) Clipos ( that's his name for them not mine)
5) Leap Frog fly reader case and cars book)
6) Cloths
7) Games
8) coloring books
He has had a blast and enjoyed the stuff from Santa. He woke up in the morning came to the living room and saw that Santa came the Trampoline was assembled and he came back got me up and said " mommy there is a boinger! Santa got me a boinger!" I asked him if he opened his presents and he said nope then I knew we needed to get up. So I had him get his dad up...
" Daddy! Daddy I have a boinger" Thomas said trying to get his dad up
" well if you go potty you will get rid of it" Dad said. Now you all know what he thought Thomas meant.
" noooo daddy come quickly Santa was here!"
We all got up and I fumbled around trying to get the camcorder working. Sadly I never got him jumping up and down on the " boinger" but he loved everything
I had issues getting the Christmas picture taken but that was done as well. We all enjoyed the morning. My mother-in-law showed up with my grandmother. We had a great dinner wonderful time and everything has been assembled. The garbage can is full!
Well I guess I need to sell some more Tupperware to make up for this Christmas huh?

Today was............
The worst. This morning I woke up and my dishwasher was still running from last night. Soo now I need to have a new dishwasher. My frigerater has broke. My daycare child that I have for today ( only one) is sick and whiny. She wants to wine and cry and only wanted me to stand and hold her while she has a bottle. I am exhausted.
The frige is leaking freeon so it is shot. The kid is teathing and I had to send her home. And I finaly got to eat. I feel bad because I couldnt get the kid to calm down and hang out. She wouldnt even take a nap. If I could get her to nap and eat lunch I wouldnt have sent her home. Oh I feel bad but I still have to charge her mom for the day.
Well off to get that new frige

Today I am going to talk about the present. Thomas has his friends Darbi and Jole over. They spent the night. He is soooooo excited however what he doesnt know is that tonight when they go home we will have to scrub the house down. I feel bad because the house has to be in clean perfect condition every monday morning.
I am waiting to see what they have broken later tonight. It seams every time they are here something gets broken. Every vcr in the house toy box sprinkler all kinds of stuff. But I am sure it isnt there fault it just happens.
I wish my camera worked as I would take a picture of how happy Thomas is right now. He loves having these kids over. They play with him. I think they love being here as well.

Thomas is almost 4 years old. I can not believe how time has flown.
He was born February 2005 and I went back to work as auto mechanic. No one wanted me to come back apparently but I did. I went back when my 3 months were up exactly. Then wouldn't you know it in September we went on strike. Yup strike. Sooo I was now out of work again. I had to go to the picket line every day. And no one cared how hard it was for me to get there on time and care for Thomas. I was still nursing him. But I had no place to go and pump. Soon I had no one to watch him either and he was on the picket line with me every day. Then before I knew it I was ignored and no one wanted me there either. I should have left but I didn't. I stayed.
So Now I am dropping him off in Benicia with a friend and her kids and then going back over the tole bridge going on a picket line and then going back across the tole bridge and get him and go back across this bridge every day. Lets see 3 bux one way x 2 times a day x 5 days a week was 30 bux a week. Nice but they didn't care.
Thomas had his first b-day and everyone on the strike line was pissed off at me for wanting to be there for his party. Ummm nice I have forsaken over 6 months of his life put him on formula ( because I couldn't pump my milk any more) and now I am to give up his first b-day!!!! Ohh this was the worst.
April came and the union ended the strike. Well I went back to work and soon found myself out of a job. Well Now Thomas is 2 1/4 and I have missed him getting where he was. I have decided I wasn't going to miss anything at this point. Soo now I run a home daycare.
Thomas doesn't like it much he misses his mommy but he has kids to play with all day.
